Important Announcement

We think the Model 3 is really cool and have decided Tesla makes pretty good self driving cars.

The problem is they won't be able to ship enough to meet demand. But you know what's easy to ship?

Phone Apps!

So we are pivoting, and will henceforth be a phone app company. Product announcement soon.

    2. I probably know more about game-theory, deep learning, ANN, and predictive analytic systems and just math(especially statistics) in general. But none of that matters. A person only needs to know the progress of A.I. globally to realize this is probably going to flop.

Silicon-valley had bigger capital and a easier task with SR and lost after decades. If you use your Iphone or windows SR solutions right now with all updates the reliability is insanely bad. This has to have exponential success rates and the science is nowhere near as close.

  11. Wow I'm so impressed by your AI car. I'm a Java developer who is very interested in AI and machine learning. I want to work with you and saw your hiring but I don't think I'm extremely super super smart as much as you to meet your criteria. If your company is getting bigger and need some more smart people like me, I'd like to join you. I hope to buy an auto-driving car with a reasonable price in the near future for me who is afraid of driving at night after LASIK surgery.

  15. I second Xunxi's comment. In all seriousness, happy belated April fool's day, I'm in the AI/ML space as a product manager for Watson and I look forward to beta testing the crap out of your self driving car initiative as soon as humanly possible in my Hyundai Elantra using my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

  17. From those of us that might benefit from this - I'm hoping that self- driving cars are out and affordable before I become far too decrepit, dangerous on the road and banned from driving on my own- especially out here in the rural areas where things like bus service and taxis are nonexistent. We need those with talent , vision and the nerve to not just get buried in some luddite beauracracy.

  19. Congrats! I just read about you getting $3.1 mill in vc money that you will apply towards coming to market with a 'driverless car product/pkg" for less than $1,000 by end of 2016. I hope that you will use your superior intelligence to help out mankind (while making $ :) In particular, I'm thinking if, at a minimum, your product has the ability to navigate a car to the side of the road safely and pos. even call an emerg phone nbr, if the driver looses consciousness, do you know how many driving seizure patients/families would buy one, or elderly, or drinkers or ?. Think how many lives that could save. It would be a small step in your process but one that would contribute immensely to society and peoples lives. For seizure patients, maybe it would interface with the Smart Monitor watch or one of those technologies that talk to phones now, etc. Maybe the car would be smart enough to take over w/some other input. Anyway, I hope you post/blog your updates from time to time on the success of your efforts. I'll be watching!

  20. Interesting Fortune Mag Article: "Venture capitalist Byron Deeter (Bessemer Venture Partners)was one of the first owners of the Tesla Model X, an all-electric crossover SUV that Tesla Motors began delivering last fall. But today he drove his 2011 Jeep Rubicon to work, following a series of software glitches that have reduced his Tesla to little more than an expensive driveway ornament." - http://fortune.com/2016/04/20/why-this-tesla-model-x-owner-can-no-longer-use-his-car/?xid=nl_termsheet

  21. I can only speculate that you would want to release phone apps as a way to solve the detailed mapping problem. I have been thinking about this a lot. If you could have thousdands or millions of people driving and recording the view, you can start to recognize things that are always stationary, things that move and things that grow slowly and then shrink fast (bushes and trees). If you have not already considered it - I use a Garmin camera that also collects OBD info as you go. ODB data from drivers might be handy too.

  25. Why do you not build a self driving floor/ street cleaning machine? Upgrade the existing cleaning machine a little bid, put your self driving kits on the machine. That 's it. This is a huge market.
